Today, we are excited to continue our Staff Shoutouts with Ms. Nina Talbert from East Village Elementary! A parent nominated Ms. Talbert, a 3rd grade teacher, because she has cultivated her child’s love of learning this year. She is patient and kind with her students and makes learning fun – even on zoom! She is the “definition of teaching excellence”! When we asked Ms. Talbert what she loves about teaching, she said “I love my students and the relationships we build with one another! I enjoy spending every day with them Helping them learning and seeing them grow over the course of the school year is the most rewarding part of teaching for me.” Ms. Talbert loves that eStem is an environment of support and collaboration, a place where “teamwork allows us to learn and grow as teachers…and feel supported along the way!” It is evident that Ms. Talbert is committed to seeing her students succeed and willing to go above and beyond to support them in their learning!
