My name is ShaVonya Berry, and I am honored to serve as the Director of eStem East Village Junior High School where we are building excellence on a firm foundation of structure and discipline, high expectations, and rugged hard work.
I have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, a Master’s Degree in Teaching from the University of Arkansas at Monticello as well as both Master’s and Specialist’s Degrees in Educational Leadership from Harding University.
Before transitioning to administration, I taught secondary mathematics for fourteen years. I also served at eStem East Village Junior High School as the STEM Facilitator and the Assistant Director.
My approach to education is data-informed and rooted in a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
