Out of an abundance of caution, we will close our schools and offices January 9-10 due to the anticipated winter weather.

Attention Downtown K6 Families - We know that winter weather in Arkansas is unpredictable! If we do have inclement weather, we will post notifications on our website and social media plus notify parents through text/emails. We also notify all area tv stations if we are closed. Our district staff will make those decisions when needed and we will pass along the information as soon as we can. One way to help us is to make sure we have your current phone number and email. You are always encouraged to update information with our registrar, Allyson Peterson at allyson.peterson@estemschools.org

While semester exams are in full swing, the staff at Downtown Junior High are spreading holiday cheer by dressing up as Santa and his elves!
Today was all about celebrations at Downtown K6! We celebrated Frosty Friday by dressing as a snowman or in all white. Staff were rewarded with Frostys from Wendy's (and shout out to Wendy's on Broadway for fixing 80 Frostys for us!!) We also celebrated the holidays a little bit early by handing out Amazon gift cards to all of our staff! We are proud of the hard work students and staff have put in this first semester. Next week we will close out the semester with more dress up days and our class parties!

EVE families and friends, it has been another great week and we are excited for the holiday break. We are thankful for all you do to help support the students and staff at EVE. Students at EVE have been taking their iReady Middle of the Year Reading and Math assessments this week and we are extremely excited at the amount of growth that has been made. Students who grew 10 points or more were able to receive special prizes. We gave out so many prizes this week that we had to run to the store TWICE! Great job boys and girls. Your hard work is paying off. We also thank our amazing teachers for working so hard to deliver high quality instruction each and every day. #fosteringaspiritofexcellence
