Today was all about celebrations at Downtown K6! We celebrated Frosty Friday by dressing as a snowman or in all white. Staff were rewarded with Frostys from Wendy's (and shout out to Wendy's on Broadway for fixing 80 Frostys for us!!) We also celebrated the holidays a little bit early by handing out Amazon gift cards to all of our staff! We are proud of the hard work students and staff have put in this first semester. Next week we will close out the semester with more dress up days and our class parties!

Students at EVE have been taking their iReady Middle of the Year Reading and Math assessments this week and we are extremely excited at the amount of growth that has been made. Students who grew 10 points or more were able to receive special prizes. We gave out so many prizes this week that we had to run to the store TWICE! Great job boys and girls. Your hard work is paying off. We also thank our amazing teachers for working so hard to deliver high quality instruction each and every day. #fosteringaspiritofexcellence

Students in Mr. Huddleston's class are diving into the art of realistic portraits, showcasing their creativity by selecting their own subjects. Today, they are focused on perfecting their shading techniques, adding depth and dimension to bring their portraits to life.
While this is is happening at DTJH, we have exciting activities happening on all of our campuses. Remember to check our Events Calendar on our website for details specific to your child’s school.

DTJH Familes, this is a reminder that iReady Diagnostic exams are tomorrow and Wednesday.
This is the opportunity for students to show how much they have grown from the beginning of the year to now.
How can parents help?
-Make sure your student gets a good night's sleep.
-Discuss the importance.
-Motivate them to do their best.
See you tomorrow at 7:20am!
