To be Ugly Sweater Day - we sure did have some cute sweaters! eStem Elementary continued its celebration of holiday dress up days with Ugly Sweater Day.

This is our last week of collecting items for our eStem families in need. Boxes are set up at each campus. Thank you to everyone that has already donated!

Good evening eJH families,

Hats off (or on) to the holidays! eStem Elementary went all out in finding the perfect head accessory today to start off our December dress up days! Toboggans, cowboy hats, Santa hats and even Christmas trees were seen on heads around our buildings.

Good afternoon,
There will be no after school program today due to our Internet and phone lines being down. We apologize for the inconvenience. Our gates close at 4:00p.m. Students who are picked up after 4:00p.m. should be picked up from the front entrance.
Our holiday food drive has started! Please help us fill up the boxes that are set up at each campus. All items collected will be available to our less fortunate eStem families.

Good afternoon,
Quiz Bowl practice is also cancelled this afternoon.
Mr. Reed will reach out with more information.

Our fourth grade students went to the Museum of Discovery today to explore and discover energy - the uses of, conservation of and transfer of energy. They enjoyed walking through the exhibits of the museum and also exploring our beautiful downtown.

Starting tomorrow we will begin collecting food items for our less fortunate eStem families! There will also be grade level incentives so be sure and read your campus newsletter with additional information!

eJH students in Mr. Reed's classes were playing a modified version of the Oregon Trail. Students were assigned roles based on America’s expansion into the West (Buffalo Hunter, Native Tribal Leader, Homesteader) and had to go through specific situations (Harsh Winters, Land Redistribution, Droughts) which were positive for some and negative to others. Students then discussed different points of view after the game and related experiences to previous information from class.

At eJH, students in Mrs. Green’s classes are mastering the art of scale drawing! 🏛📏
They’re learning how to take real world measurements of buildings and statues and convert them into precise drawings that fit perfectly onto a sheet of paper.
A hands-on way to bring math and creativity together!

Good morning eJH,
This is a reminder that we will have early dismissal tomorrow, November 11th at 12:15 PM. If your student’s normal dismissal method (car rider, walker, bus rider, etc.) will change due to the early dismissal, please email Mrs. Marquez-Bautista with those updates.
