We are excited to recognize members of our staff going above & beyond for our students and schools! A colleague nominated Natalie Akin for this week’s Staff Shoutout! Ms. Akin is a Curriculum Facilitator at East Village Elementary, but if you’ve been at eStem for a while, you may remember her as a 1st grade teacher when we started! Ms. Akin is a perfect example of the eStem way – she is committed to supporting teachers and students, and she does so with a positive attitude and a smile!
When we asked Ms. Akin what she loves about working with teachers and students, she said, “Looking back on my 17 years in education, I have to say the part I love most is the learning and growing that comes from facing and persevering through challenges. Developing a growth mindset and going on the journey of learning with students, teachers, and school family is something I have grown to treasure.” She thinks the best thing about working at eStem is the collaboration! All teachers and staff have the same goal – doing whatever it takes to help our students grow and succeed!
