Today, we are excited to announce this week's Student Shoutout! We are recognizing Ryan Kogo from the Downtown Elementary! For the last two years, Ryan has been helping serve the homeless at the Salvation Army. Ryan helps cook and serve breakfasts which means he has to be up and ready to go at 4 a.m.! Since the pandemic, Ryan alternates weeks preparing 40 sack meals to be given to the patrons for the midday meal. Ryan is a true example of going above and beyond for others! Through this service, he has had such an outlook of gratitude and grace while caring for those who need it most. We are so proud of the work Ryan is doing for our community! Let him know you're proud of all he's done too!
