We are proud to share that DTK6 recently held a METS event—Motivating, Encouraging, and Teaching Success—to celebrate our students who reached their academic goals on the i-Ready Spring assessments! It was a well-deserved celebration that recognized the hard work, growth, and perseverance our students have shown throughout the year.
Seeing their excitement and pride was a wonderful reminder of what our students can achieve with dedication and support. Over 500 students celebrated with hot dogs, chips & drinks and those who met their stretch goals received popsicles! DJ Wallace provided the tunes and the sunshine and fresh air provided the backdrop and ambience!

Check out EVE's weekly highlights. It's definitely been a full week.

🎉 Happy Assistant Principal Week, Mrs. Rowe! 🎉
This week, we’re setting sail in celebration of YOU, Mrs. Rowe! Your steady leadership, kind heart, and unwavering dedication help keep our school afloat and moving full speed ahead.
You guide us through calm and stormy waters alike, always with a smile, a solution, and the strength to ROWE the boat for both staff and students. Whether you're solving problems, supporting teachers, or cheering on our students—you do it all with grace, grit, and greatness!
Thank you for being the anchor of encouragement and the co-captain of care in our school family. We are beyond grateful for everything you do. 💙
So here’s to you, Mrs. Rowe—our amazing AP. We’re rowing right alongside you, and we wouldn’t want to be on this journey with anyone else!

One week to go until the 4th annual ABC drill contest @eastvillagek6!
Staff members had their own contest to see who is the fastest writer. Congrats to Mrs. Jenkins (3rd grade teacher) who wrote a total of 162 letters in 1 minute! 🏆
Practice with your child at home. See how many times they can write the alphabet in 1 minute. ✍️

At DTJH, some of the 8th grade students had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the DLRP Annual Meeting where they engaged with community leaders, including the mayor and local business owners. We are so proud of these students for representing eStem and gaining valuable experience in civic engagement.

At East Village Elementary, our kindergarteners are diving into history with the Arkansas Heritage Museum loan boxes, supporting their CKLA curriculum! 🌟 They explored the Arkansas Traveler and Charlie's Cloak, making learning come alive with stories and artifacts. 📚✨ #CKLA #ArkansasHeritage #HandsOnLearning #KindergartenAdventures
