Mets Camp News
The first session of our Mets Camp program began this week with grades 1 and 2. Grades 3 through 6 begin Mets Camp Tuesday, September 4th. Mets Camp is a program designed to help all students get what they need. Some students are paired with classroom teachers targeting a specific skill, while other students are working on skills that will challenge them. Some of the activities students will get to explore during Mets Camp include coding, reader’s theater, reading fluency, analyzing character, measurement, identifying key details in text, natural disasters, music with math, poetry/songwriting, and creating a design company. The sessions last around 6 weeks and then we reassess our students’ needs and start a new session.
