We’re excited to introduce you to Mrs. Melissa Gray, Director of eStem Junior High!
Mrs. Gray has been part of the eStem community for 14 years and brings a passion for helping students and staff grow to their full potential each day!
🍎 A little more about Mrs. Gray: She loves working with junior high students each day and has a strong desire to create a safe place for them to learn, grow, and succeed, as well as build a strong connection between families and the school.
💙 Why eStem? That family feel! She loves working in a place where everyone takes care of each other and is there for the right reasons!
📚 Favorite part of being a director: She loves the lasting relationships she builds with students, staff, and families. One of her favorite things is when former students come back to see her and tell her the amazing things they are doing now!
🎓 Education/experience: Mrs. Gray holds a Bachelors, Masters, and Educational Specialist degrees - she truly believes in being a lifelong learner! She has served as a PE teacher and coach, Dean, Assistant Director before becoming a Director.
✨ Fun fact: In her free time, she loves riding motorcycles with her best friend!
🎯 Goal for this school year: Her goal for this year is to Elevate the Standard! This simply means that she has set the expectation that ALL classrooms will grow more than expected. She wants to build this culture of excellence and elevation at the Junior High!
