Dear eStem Families,
We are excited to share some outstanding news with you!
The Arkansas Department of Education has released the 2024–2025 School Letter Grades, and every eStem Public Charter School campus showed improvement from the last report. Each of our schools moved up at least one letter grade, and we couldn’t be prouder of this progress.
Here’s how each campus improved:
School | 22-23 Letter Grade | 24-25 Letter Grade |
eStem Elementary | D | C |
eStem Junior High | C | B |
eStem High | C | B |
East Village Elementary | D | B |
This success is a direct reflection of the hard work of our students, the dedication of our educators, and the unwavering support from our families.
Last year, we took intentional steps to strengthen our academic programs. This included:
Improved classroom observation systems;
The creation of strong professional learning communities;
Increased teacher support;
Better tracking of academic standards;
And, a renewed focus on literacy across all campuses.
These changes are making a real difference. As Dr. Janice Page, our Assistant Superintendent of Academics, shared: “Providing and supporting our teachers and students with rigorous, high-quality instructional materials is key to our students’ success. Watching the plan in action is inspiring. This report confirms what everyone at eStem sees on a daily basis, and I look forward to more achievement growth next year.”
Looking ahead, we’re also excited about the success of our new campus model, which brought all eStem students within one mile of each other in downtown Little Rock. This new structure enables us to provide a more consistent and connected academic experience, offer better support for teachers and students, and foster a stronger eStem community from elementary through high school.
We look forward to continuing this growth and ensuring all of our students are on track to take advantage of our programs to earn college credit or certifications in high-need, high-wage employment tracks starting as early as 7th grade at our new secondary campus in East Village
We are grateful for your continued partnership in helping our students succeed. Let’s keep the momentum going—this is only the beginning!
With appreciation,
Dr. Nick Patterson | Chief Executive Officer
