This week, we have a brother sister duo as our Student Shoutouts! Lily and Matthew Thompson are both excelling in the wrestling community! Lily, a 2nd grader at East Village Elementary, started wrestling in August, and this Sunday, she won Arkansas Girls State Champion! WOW! Matthew, a 4th grader at EVE, also started wrestling in August, and in his first season, he medaled in all 5 competitions he participated in and placed 4th overall in the state championship! These two siblings are awesome – not only at wrestling, but they work hard and succeed in the classroom too. Way to go Lily & Matthew! We are so proud of you both!
