Campus Registrar

About the Position

The Registrar is responsible for all of the record keeping functions for the students. Technical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to multitask are a must.

The Registrar role includes but is not limited to:

  • Request students’ previous academic records
  • Enter students’ past course history
  • Collect, organize, and send outgoing student records to requesting schools
  • Process and verify grades; review grade report for accuracy
  • Use eSchool, Cognos, Microsoft Office, and other relevant programs to perform work assignments
  • Process report cards quarterly
  • Update GPA each semester each semester and rank graduating seniors
  • Check transcripts for accuracy
  • Enter all grades and credits for Virtual Arkansas; manage VA enrollment and withdrawal
  • Print final transcripts at the end of the school year
  • Contact parents for confirmation of student withdrawal
  • Assist the Director with entering the master schedule and the initial scheduling of students each year
  • Other duties as assigned by Director

  • Proficient understanding of eSchool, Cognos, and Triand
  • Strong computer skills, including a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to type/enter data quickly and with accuracy

  • Previous experience and/or knowledge of Arkansas Department of Education graduation requirements, enrollment procedures and other rules
