6th Grade Students Reach New Heights!

Students, parents, and curious park-goers were treated to a fun afternoon of STEM as eStem 6th grade students lead by Mr. Scott Lampkin launched rockets they built at Murray Park this Saturday.

The rocket launch was the final component of a larger unit developed for the 6th grade STEM Lab in which students designed model rockets, ran flight simulations, calculated trajectories, and finally launch their class-made rockets! All the student rockets launched perfectly and some even deployed tiny parachutes to aid in recovery.

Mr. Lampkin has been a part of the eStem community since 2015 and continually brings a high level of student engagement through his creativity and unique style. Keep up the great work!
